This policy covers the website hiddenpsychfacts.com and the private publishing tool that Hidden Psych Facts uses to post videos to its own social media accounts.

Who uses the tool

The publishing tool is used only by the owner of the Hidden Psych Facts channel, to manage the channel's own accounts. It is not offered to the public and does not collect data from viewers or other users.

What data the tool accesses

When the channel owner connects an account, the tool receives a sign-in token from that platform. It uses the token only to:

• upload and publish our own videos, titles and captions;
• read basic profile details of our own account (name and picture) to show which account is connected;
• read view and engagement statistics for our own videos, to learn which topics work.

The tool does not read, store or share personal data about viewers, followers or any other person.

YouTube API Services

The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke the tool's access to your Google account at any time from your Google security settings.

Storage and security

Sign-in tokens and video files are stored only on our own server, which is protected by HTTPS, a firewall and key-based login. Video files on the server are only working copies of our own videos.

Statistics we receive from YouTube API Services are refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any data received from YouTube API Services or other platforms with any third party.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. The publishing tool stores one sign-in cookie in the channel owner's own browser so they stay logged in. It places no cookies on anyone else's device.

Deleting data

You can remove the tool's access to a Google account at any time from the Google security settings page, or by disconnecting the account in the tool. When access is removed, we delete the stored tokens and all data received from YouTube API Services for that account within 7 days.

To ask us to delete anything sooner, email the address below and we will delete it within 7 days.
